Mountains Rivers Running Sounds relaxing moments concentration meditation

"Moment's concentration" is a type of meditation that involves focusing your attention on the present moment, without allowing your mind to wander to the past or the future. This type of meditation is also sometimes referred to as "mindfulness meditation."

To practice moment's concentration meditation, find a quiet place where you won't be disturbed. Sit comfortably, either on the floor or in a chair, and close your eyes. Begin by taking a few deep breaths to help you relax.

Once you feel calm and centered, begin to focus your attention on the present moment. Notice the sensations in your body, such as the feeling of your feet on the floor or the movement of your breath. Try to let go of any thoughts or distractions that arise and simply observe the present moment without judgment.

If your mind starts to wander, gently bring your attention back to the present moment. It can be helpful to use a mantra or a phrase to help you refocus your mind. For example, you might repeat the phrase "be here now" to yourself.

Continue to practice moment's concentration meditation for a few minutes each day, gradually increasing the length of your sessions as you become more comfortable. With regular practice, you may find that you feel more calm, centered, and focused throughout your day.
